About Rocking J

Hi, I’m KimberLyn, the maker behind Rocking J.

Rocking J started as me doing what I’ve always loved to do—making things with my own two hands. One thing led to another, my kitchen filled up with soap molds, jars, oils, herbs, wax and probably more supplies than any one person needs, and somewhere along the way my little hobby became something I truly loved building.

Everything you find here is made by me in small batches in my Texas kitchen. I make tallow and goat milk soaps, bath and body products, candles, shower steamers and whatever else I get inspired to make next.

I’m drawn to the simple stuff—tallow, goat milk, good oils, botanical clays and herbs. I don’t think something needs a mile-long ingredient list or a bunch of fancy extras to be good. Some of the things I’m most proud of are also the simplest.

Rocking J isn’t a factory, and there’s definitely not a warehouse out back.  It’s just a small family business, built a batch at a time. I make it, label it, pack it and send it on its way from right here in Texas.

More than anything, I want to make things that feel special without being fussy—things you’ll actually use, enjoy and hopefully come back for when you run out.

So whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you just happened to find me, thank you for being here and supporting Rocking J. It means more to me than you probably know.
